OBITUARY William Maurice Lamon December 28, 1921 – July 17, 2018 The funeral for William Maurice (Morris) Lamon, 96 of Trinity will be Thursday July 19th at 3 p.m. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with Bro. Dallas Culver officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Mr. Lamon died July 17, 2018 at his residence. He was born December 28, 1921 to Minor and Ava Parker Lamon. He was a World War II veteran, farmer, welder, and loved to garden. He was a faithful member of Trinity United Methodist Church for 87 years. He was preceded in death by his wife Effie Whitlow Lamon, parents, sister, Melba Smith, daughter-in-law Peggy Lamon, and great grandson Zach Hillis. Survivors include two sons, Eual Lamon(Jean), and Dwight Lamon(Susan), sisters, Merle Lamon and Burnice Lentz, five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and four nieces. Pallbearers will be Jack Lamon, Tolly Lamon, Tim Lamon, David Lamon, Will Lamon, Dakota Lamon, Mason Lamon, and Brett Terry. Honorary pallbearers will be the Mens Sunday School Class. Special thanks to Hope Harris and Justin Hood for their love and care. Also, Hospice of the Valley. Roselawn funeral home is assisting the family.
