Obituary for Troy Deen Troy (Trey) Gordon Deen III passed away Sunday, July 29, 2018. He was surrounded by loved ones. Trey was born at Hendrick Hospital on February 5, 1957 to Troy (Bob) Gordon Deen II and Delois Deen. Trey attended Cooper High school and excelled in Baseball and Football, class of 1975. At the time of passing, Trey was employed at Cowboy Pump, whom he considered family. Trey was survived by his beloved wife, Dorothy Deen; daughters Stephanie Kossbiel of Fort Worth, Tricia Deen of Montana, Tiffany Deen of Idaho, Cheryl Ervin and husband Jermaine Ervin, Serena Perez-Tovar and husband AJ Tovar of Austin, TX. Numerous grandchildren Bailey, Zakary, Rebekah, Rachael, Jamey, Skylar, Trey, Lucas, Cydney, Jermaine Jr., Arianna, Alani and Avery. A service honoring the life of Trey will be held 2:00PM Thursday, August 2, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Merkel, Texas. Followed by burial at Rose Hill Cemetery. A visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, August 1, 2018 from 6:00-8:00PM at Starbuck Funeral Home in Merkel, Texas.
