Todd Brough, 44, of rural Plymouth, Illinois died at 5:25 pm Saturday July 28, 2018 at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb, IL. He was born on March 15, 1974 in Rushville, IL to Donald and Norma Downey Brough. He married Julie Ippensen on August 24, 1996 in Augusta, IL. She survives. Todd was a lifetime farmer on the family farm with his father and his sons. He was a 1992 graduate of Rushville High School. Todd’s passion in life was anything with his family and he was an avid follower of the activities with his son’s many racing and motor sporting events. He is survived along with his wife, Julie by 2 sons, Dalton Brough of Huntsville, IL and Colton Brough of Plymouth, IL, his parents, Donald and Norma Brough of Plymouth, IL, a brother, Kevin (Gayle) Brough of Rushville, IL, 2 sisters, Cathy (Meredith) Myers of Augusta, IL and Cari (Rod) Hillyer of Macomb, IL, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cecil and Margaret Brough and Art and Bertha Downey. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday August 4, 2018 at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Augusta, IL by Rev. Dixie Croxton. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 Friday at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Augusta, Memorials may be made to his family. The Hamilton Funeral Home in Augusta, Illinois is handling arrangements.
