Obituary of Ruth Fletcher Williamson/Webster: Went to Heaven to join the angels on Tuesday, August 14, 2018, age 91. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 52 years, Richard; brother, Harold Waite; sister, Hope Jacobs. Loving mother of Susan (Arthur) Loveland of San Antonio, TX, Karen (Gilbert) Trujillo, of Chicago, IL, Nancy (William) Eaton, of Webster, and Daniel (Teresa) Fletcher, of Spencerport. Also survived by her grandchildren; Christopher (Hannah) Loveland, Melissa (Lucas) Smith, Taylor and Marc Trujillo; two great-grandsons, Kenneth “Kent” and Hayden Loveland; brother-in-law John “Jack” Fletcher, of Manchester, CT; sister-in-law Gretchen Fletcher, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; nieces and nephews. Ruth was born in Worcester, MA in 1927. She was a Staff Sergeant in the US Air Force and served in Europe during the Korean War era. Ruth traveled extensively in Europe during her time in the military. She later worked at Xerox for 22 years as an executive secretary and enjoyed gardening, reading (often volunteering as a reader at State Rd. Elementary School), scrapbooking, boating, music and her church family. She loved her family, friends, and community dearly. Friends are invited to her Memorial Service 4:00 PM Thursday, August 30 at the United Methodist Church of Webster, 169 E Main Street. Private interment, Lakeview Cemetery, Pultneyville. Donations in her memory may be directed to the United Methodist Church of Webster, or WXXI Development Dept., PO Box 30021, Rochester, NY 14603-3021.
