Obituary for Richard L. “Dick” Minall Richard “Dick” Minall, 76, of Discovery Bay passed away peacefully Friday in a local hospital. He was born in Oakland, raised his family in Castro Valley and spent is last 8 years living in Discovery Bay. Dick was a truck driver with the Teamsters Union for more than 30 years, retiring in 2003. Dick most loved spending time with his family, attending all the grand kids functions. He was a member of the P Town Pushrods and Good Guys Car Clubs. He customized his ‘53 Ford Panel from the chassis up over 40 years ago. He liked his trips to the casinos, rooting for the Giants and all the local football teams. He is survived by his former wife Linda; children Melissa (Joe) Davis, Shauna (Mike) Harbarth and Matt (Cheri) Minall; brother Bill Minall; grandchildren Joshua (Ashley) Davis, Zachary (Miranda) Davis, Richard and Calista Davis, Madison and Mason Harbarth, Jasmine Morris, Katelynn and Brandy Guffey and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 7th at Passalacqua Funeral Chapel, 901 West Second Street, Benicia. Viewing will be available after 9:00 a.m. Tuesday.
