Renzo Contini September 18 1932 August 24 2018 (age 85)

Renzo Contini, age 85 of Watertown, passed away, August 24, surrounded by his loving family in his home. He was born in Popoli, Italy, a small town in the Abruzzo region, son of Antonio and Anna Contini. For over 62 years, he was the devoted husband of Anna, his tremendously caring wife. He was the loving and proud father of Maurizio Contini and his wife Norma, and Paola Contini. Cherished Papa of Julia Contini, Isabella and Sophia Thompson, and Paul Contini (deceased). Loyal brother of Irma Pescara of Canada, and the late Nicola Contini of Canada and Maria Maione of Italy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and their families. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church 770 Mt. Auburn Street Watertown on Wednesday Aug. 29 at 9:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to VNA Care, Fund Development Office, 199 Rosewood Drive, Suite 180, Danvers, MA 01923.
