Patricia McDonald Patricia Vivian Hopkins McDonald, went to be with the Lord August 12, 2018 from Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born in Wood County, WV, March 9, 1935, a daughter of the late Kenneth Vivian Chapman and Lucille Wanda (Smith) Thorn. Patricia worked for The Bureau of Public Debt where she was an encoder and support. She was a member of Beachwood Presbyterian Church where she participated in various committees and super Saturday. Patricia volunteered for the Salvation Army and Meals on Wheels for 7 years. She loved oil painting and Acrylics and Patricia loved collecting antique dolls. She is survived by her seven children, Rodney E. Hopkins & (Loretta) of Parkersburg, Ronald C. Hopkins & (Alice) of St. Cloud, FL, Mark F. Hopkins & (Tammy) of Coolville, OH, Kara Sue Nulter & (Karl) of Parkersburg, Kelly Woicinski & (Louie) of Columbus, OH, Carol Ann Newhuis & (John) of Nacogdoches, TX, and Andrew M. Hopkins & (Winn) of Parkersburg, five sisters, Karen Mitchel, Sandra Wallace, Lois Pappas, Terry Lamp, and Cheri Lantz, 24 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, son-in-law, Richard Vincent of Woodsfield, OH, and cousin and sister-in-spirit, Doreen Buckhannon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jaqueline Miller, former husbands, Donald E. Hopkins and Earl McDonald, two grand-children, Travis Matthew and Robert Mitchell Barker, and daughter, Connie Jan Vincent. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
