Michael G. Kavanagh passed from this world on the 20th day of August 2018. He was a local celebrity of sorts. Especially to you baby boomers from SLC. He was the most devoted son a mother could ever hope to have. Particularly during her declining years. He was literally at her side on a daily basis until she preceded him in death. His devotion to his family was unparalleled. He treated his sister Jan and brother Dan and their children with active and unconditional love and devotion. He always took the time to show everyone how much they mattered. You were lovable just the way you are. That is the man who we honor today. Services to be held for family in the near future at Aspen Funeral Home and in Sandy, Utah. Please contact the family for details. A wake will be held at the Mount Olympus Pavilion at Sugarhouse Park on Saturday, September 1st at 3:00 pm.
