Obituary for Michael Allen Genna Michael A. Genna, 62, of Chapin, passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 26, 2018. Born on January 8, 1956, he was a son of the late John and Lillian Genna. He was a former longtime resident of Clinton Township, MI, and a 1974 graduate of Clintondale High School. Mike was employed for Crusader Marine Engines for over 30 years and continued with the present company, Pleasure Craft, where he was a vital Customer Service Manager. He always had a love for Mopar’s and music and would do anything for you. You could always count on Mike. He spoiled his pets and treated them like family. Facebook was his connection to all and he loved sharing his experiences. His family and friends are heartbroken to have lost such a wonderful man. Mike was the loving father of Lindsay A. Genna, cherished brother of John (Carol), Angelo (Diane), Marianne (Wayne), Kathleen (Kenny), Elizabeth and James, former husband to Cindy Noto Genna, adored uncle to many nieces and nephews, and a dear cousin, nephew and friend to so many. Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date. Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons Funeral Home, 36900 Schoenherr Rd., Sterling Heights, MI, 48312, is assisting the family. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family locally. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mike’s honor to any animal or children’s charities.
