Martha West, 76, passed away at home, August 5, 2018 in West Columbia, Texas. She was born on May 25, 1942 in Bay City, Texas to Nolan and Johnnie Williams. Martha graduated from West Columbia High in 1960 when she married her high school sweetheart and love of her life, Archie West. Martha was a great wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her sister, Carolyn Pisklak of West… Read More » Columbia; daughters, Becky Bryant and husband, Scott of Angleton and Jennifer Jones and husband, Randy of West Columbia; son, John West of Richmond; 5 grandchildren, Archie Spacek, Autumn Mears, Matthew Bryant, Joshua Bryant, and Rebecca Bryant; along with 5 great-grandchildren, Archie Spacek, Jr., Millie Spacek, Mylie Spacek, Ellee Mears, and Henry Mears. Martha loved shopping, getting her hair done, and spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed riding around her property with her husband and spending time gardening. She was an active member of Faith Baptist Church in Sweeny, Texas. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia with Buddy Dudley officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 8, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm also at the funeral home.
