Obituary for Marilyn A. Brown Marilyn A. “Ma” Brown, age 80, of Alliance, passed away at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Altercare of Alliance. She was born March 13, 1937 in Alliance, Ohio to Cecil and Mildred (Shelly) Garrison. A graduate of Alliance High School, Marilyn worked at the former G. C. Murphy Company, Kings Department Store and Value City. She was a Steelers Fan, who also enjoyed NASCAR, traveling and bingo. Marilyn had a great love for her family. Survivors include her daughter, Debra Boyd; grandson, Brent Boyd; great-granddaughter, Adelle Clair Boyd; sister, Pat Lower, brother, Thomas Garrison; niece, Bobbi Jo Lower; and great-nephew, Tyler Summers. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Henry Brown. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 Noon Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Walton Schrader Funeral Home with Rev. Barritt W. Durbin officiating. Friends may call the hour prior to the service. Arrangements are by Walton Schrader Funeral Home, 1131 W. State St., Alliance, Ohio 44601.
