Obituary of Marie Guerra Marie E. Guerra Marie E. Guerra passed away Friday, August 10, 2018 at the N.Y.S. Veteran’s Home in Montrose, NY. She was 88 years old. Daughter of the late Harold and Frances Charlmers, she was born January 21, 1930 in Bronx, NY. Marie was the widow of Godfrey Guerra. She was a retired Secretary with Lakeland Central Schools of Shrub Oak, NY, a member of Trinity Episcopal Church of Bethlehem, PA, and a longtime volunteer at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem. Survivors include her loving children: Kim Redmond and her husband Mark of Rome, TX, Jeff Guerra and his wife Rieki of Bend, OR, and Mark Guerra and his wife Theresa of Highland Falls, NY. Marie is also survived by her two sisters, Nancy Chase of Riverdale, NY and Jean Goodall of Toms River, NJ; her seven grandchildren: Megan, Danny, Caitlin, Sarah, Brian, Colleen, Asuka; and five great grandchildren: Brennan, Maggie, Ellie, Logan, and Riley. Marie was predeceased by her brother George Charlmers. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 23rd at William F. Hogan Funeral Home, 135 Main Street, Highland Falls, NY. Visitation will also be held from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, August 27th at Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA 18017. A Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Trinity Episcopal Church, 44 E. Market Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018. Interment will follow in Niskey Hill Cemetery in Bethlehem, PA. Memorial donations may be made to your local Alzheimer’s Association at or Leukemia Society at
