OBITUARY Maggie “Jean” Wilson Cape March 17, 1944 – August 19, 2018 Maggie Jean Wilson Cape, 74, of Madison, passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018. A native of Franklin County, Mrs. Cape was a daughter of the late Harrison Wilson and Hattie Mae Helton Wilson. She retired from Reliance Electric. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Franklin “Frank” Cape Sr. Survivors include children, Lafreda Whelan (Joe) of Elberton, William Kenneth Smith of Madison, Rhonda Felts (Danny) of Statham, Angie Ivester (Joe) of Jefferson and Edgar Franklin Cape Jr. (Patrick) of Madison; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 21 from 6-8 p.m. at Bernstein Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 22 at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Bernstein Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Winterville Cemetery.
