Obituary for Lola Maxine Miller Lola Maxine Miller aged 82 of Grand Rapids, MI formerly of Des Moines, IA passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2018. Lola was born February 24, 1936 in Pikeville, Kentucky, the daughter of William (Bill) and Lola Maxie (Varney) Fannin. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Miller on June 13, 2018; and her sisters, Jacqueline Jeffers and Vivian Nuzum. Lola is survived by her son, Steve (Karen) Miller of Grand Rapids; her daughter, Tracey (Richard) Amos of Idaho Falls, ID; her grandchildren, Christine Jeffs, Catherine Johnson, Jeremy Sorrell, Bethany Sorrell, Spencer (Alicia) Miller and Elliot Miller; three great grandchildren; Boston Jeffs, Mikinlee Jeffs and Novalee Jeffs; her sister, Dawn Maynard; her sister-in-law, Barbara (Richard) Kyle; her brother-in-law, Roger (Donna) Miller; and her nieces and nephews, Linda (Gary) Westemeyer, Paula (Jude) Anders, Paul Nuzum, Simmone (Jim) Berry, David Kyle, Sydney Kyle, Kevin (Noel) Kyle, Peggy (Jay) Artman, Amy (Earl) Logan. A private service with family and friends will be held. Burial will take place in Ft. Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI.
