A native of Hickman County he was the son of the late Wade and Willie Mary Bates Chandler, in addition to his parents he was preceded by a son Kirk Wilson, he is survived by his children Brad Chandler, Kim Boehms, Jenny Chandler, and Benny Wilson, 9 grandchildren, 3 brothers Clay, Kenneth and Glen Chandler, 2 sisters Jane Gilbert, and Freda Simerly.
