Maher, Kathleen A. “Cathy”, 52, of Exeter, passed away at Hope Hospice Care in Providence on August 1, 2018. She was the wife of Francis T. “Frank” Maher. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Theordore and Barbara (LeVeaque) Sklarski. Cathy graduated from University of Rhode Island and was a teacher at Nathanael Greene Elementary School for 28 years in Pawtucket. Besides her husband, she laves a son Patrick L. Maher of Exeter and a brother David Sklarski of Narragansett, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was brother of the late Kevin Sklarski. Funeral Saturday at 8:45 AM from the Jones-Walton-Sheridan Funeral Home, 1895 Broad St. at Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 65 3rd St., East Greenwich, R.I. Committal Prayers will be held at Swan Point Cemetery, Providence, RI Calling Hours Friday 4:00-8:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers donation may be made in her memory to Home Hospice Care, 1085 N. Main St., Providence, RI 02904
