John Edward Story 2018

John Edward Story, age 71, of Middleburg, FL passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2018. He was born on March 31, 1947 in McKees Rock, PA. He served in the United States Air Force and worked in Missile Systems. Later, he began a career as a Site Manager for Environmental Companies. Mr. Story married Diane Sbraccia and together they had two sons, John C. Story and Jeffrey P. Story before she passed away in 1977. He married Linda Epling Williams on August 20, 1994 and inherited a daughter, Kendra L. Williams. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed reading. He was also a lifelong fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Above all, he loved his family and many friends; he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Mr. Story was preceded in death by his brother, Roger Story and his sister, Barbara Hauber. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Linda Story; 2 sons, John C. and Jeffrey P. Story; daughter, Kendra L. Williams; a grandson, Brayden Williams; and twin granddaughters, Charlotte and Olivia Story. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 23, 2018 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 111 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park. Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 10:30 AM in Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville. Please arrive 30 minutes early and park in Procession Lane #1. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Haven Hospice (800) 727-1889.
