John J Pratt April 9 1927 August 22 2018 (age 91)

John J. Pratt, 91, of Southwest Greensburg, died Wednesday, August 22, 2018 in Hempfield Manor. He was born April 9, 1927 in Mt. Savage, MD, a son of the late Thomas and Isabella (Blank) Pratt. Prior to retirement he had been a painter with the Painters Local Union #409. He was a Navy veteran serving in World War II. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Thomas, James and Robert; and two sisters, Rita and Genevieve. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Elaine A. (Tomey) Pratt; his son, Terry J. Pratt and wife Jenn, of Chesapeake, VA; two daughters, Lisa L. Semenko and husband Paul, of Chesapeake, VA, and Trisha A. Shume and husband Joseph, of Greensburg; seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; his sister, Mary Elizabeth “Ebb”, of Apopka, FL; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Friday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. A funeral service will begin at 11 AM Saturday in the funeral home with the Rev.
