John Gaspersic, 87, of Economy Borough, died Monday, July 30, 2018, in Rochester Manor. Born October 12, 1930, in Ambridge, a son of the late John and Jennie Gaspersic, he was retired from J&L Steel and was a U.S. Marine serving during the Korean War. Surviving are his wife Kathryn “Kitty” (Mauk) Gaspersic; one sister, Dorothy Rosso, Cranberry Twp.; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Jane Hudak. Friends will be received Thursday from 5 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m. in the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead Rd., Aliquippa, PA 15001.
