Joanne Elizabeth Stearns, age 84 passed away unexpectedly Monday, July 30, 2018 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo, Michigan. Joanne was born December 24, 1933 in Paw Paw, Michigan the daughter of Roswald and Frances (Webb) McKee. Joanne was the “Bingo Queen”. She enjoyed puzzles, crocheting, needle point, knitting and making quilts for her family and friends. But most of all she loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She enjoyed her trips out to South Haven with her son Gary to watch the boats come and go. She will be dearly missed. Joanne is survived by her 4 loving children; Clarence “Jeff”, Kevin, Gary Longcore and Patricia (Keith) Mann, 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters; Marilyn Harvey and Dian Miller, brother; Ed McKee and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Joanne was preceded in death by an infant son; Douglas Earl and 2 brothers; Jim and Bob McKee. In keeping with Joanne’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private burial will take place in Wildey Cemetery.
