OBITUARY Janet Marlene Even August 2, 1936 – July 30, 2018 Janet M. Even, age 81, died on Monday, July 30, 2018, at Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her husband, John “Jack” Even and their infant daughter, Janel Even. Janet is survived by her six children, Joni (Lenny) Denning of Dumas, Texas; Jeff Even of Denver, Colorado; Todd (Tammy) Even of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Tammy (Mark) Garrett of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Gina Even of Castle Rock, Colorado; David (Michelle) Even of Colorado Springs, Colorado; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Janet (nee Bultman) was born August 2, 1936, in Hawarden, Iowa to Harry and Luella (Eilts) Bultman. She grew up with three brothers (Donald, Darold and Ken) on a farm outside of Hawarden. Jack and Janet married in 1955, in Sioux City, Iowa. They moved to Lamar, Colorado in 1969, where they raised their family. They also lived in Littleton, Colorado and enjoyed their retirement in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Janet was a devoted mother and she will be dearly missed by her children and grandchildren. She will live forever in our memories.
