Obituary for Janet M. Biggs Janet M. Biggs, age 89 of Millville, passed away Monday morning, July 30, 2018 at her residence after a lengthy illness. Born and raised in Millville to the late Jesse and Gladys (Wacker) Biggs, she was a life long resident. Janet graduated from Millville High School, and Glassboro State College where she received her teaching degree. For 25 years she worked as a Teacher at Myron L. Powell School in Cedarville and retired. Janet enjoyed going to the casinos, taking trips to Ocean City, and going out to eat. The family would like to thank Holy Redeemer Hospice, especially Leah, Sue and Gayle for all of their special care and support. Janet will be sadly missed by her caregivers and special nieces, Marilyn Curry and husband Bob, and Barbara McGough and husband Bob, all of Vineland; one more niece; and four nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters, Elizabeth Hall, Hattie Rose, and Dorothy Harvey; and two nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 3, 2018 in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Millville. Arrangements are under the direction of Christy Funeral Home, Millville. The family requests memorial contributions to Holy Redeemer Hospice Care, 160 E. 9th Ave., Runnemede, NJ 08078.
