James E Curtin Jr November 24 1965 August 18 2018 (age 52)

James E. Curtin Jr., 52, of Norwell and Las Vegas, NV passed away on August 18, 2018. He was the beloved son of James Sr. and Patricia Curtin; brother to Austin and Laura Curtin and William and Michele Curtin. He was the proud uncle of Samantha, Grace, Natalie, Tyler, Alexa and Nathan. He was the beloved nephew of Austin (Bud) and Linda Curtin and Christine O’Connell. James worked for many years in the hospitality industry in Boston and Las Vegas, highlighted by his time at Bouchon at the Venetian in Las Vegas, NV. He enjoyed a wonderful network of friends while spending over 10 years in Las Vegas. He loved reading and music and never turned away from a good comic book. For all his family and friends please latch onto a fond memory with James and carry it with you. Please join his family on November 24th at 9AM for a Memorial Mass (St. Mary’s Church, 392 Hanover St., Hanover, MA) and “Celebration of Life” at 11AM (Scituate Maritime Center, 119 Edward Foster Rd, Scituate, MA). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mass General Hospital, MGH-Cancer Center or St. Mary Rose Hospital, Las Vegas, NV (St. Rose Dominican).
