Edna L. Miller, 77, of South Bend, IN passed away at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Heritage Point, Mishawaka, IN. She was born on May 17, 1941 in South Bend, IN. On March 19, 1966, she was united in marriage to Don A. Miller who preceded her in death on April 15, 1999. Edna is survived by two brothers, Bruce (Sharon) Willoughby and Gregory (Cherie) Willoughby, both of South Bend, IN; sister-in-law, Marilyn Willoughby of South Bend, IN; brother-in-law, Tom Lockmondy of Marcellus, MI and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Opal Marie (McCammon) Willoughby; husband, Don A. Miller; infant son, Don Alan Miller; sister, Donna Lockmondy and brother, Jerry Willoughby. Edna was a lifelong resident of South Bend. She was a member of the VFW #284 Auxiliary where she worked along with numerous other jobs. She enjoyed snowmobiling, playing cards, music and dancing. The family would like to thank the staff at Heritage Point, Alzheimer’s Special care and Grace Hospice for their compassion and wonderful care. Private services will be held at Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel followed by graveside services and burial at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. Contributions in memory of Edna L.
