Obituary for Doris McCool Doris F. McCool, 84, of Milton, Florida, departed this life on Monday, July 16, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. Doris was born in Jefferson County, Alabama, on March 10, 1934. She married Richard M. McCool on March 5, 1955. She served in the Navy for several years before she married and began her family. She served as head teller at First National Bank and was the smiling face of H&R Block at the end of her career. Doris is survived by her husband of 63 1/2 years, Richard “Dick” McCool; her children, Richard McCool (Ruth), Greg McCool (Amber), Steve McCool (Vicki) & Karla White (Mark); her grandchildren, Sean McCool, Tina Wells (Wes), Shea McCool, Julie Harrington (Dane), Molly McCool; and her great-grandchildren, Luke Wells, Gavin Wells, Audrey Harrington and Daniel Harrington. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Saturday, July 21, 2018, at Lewis Funeral Home in Milton. A private family interment will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery at a later date. The family of Doris McCool wishes to extend our sincerest thanks for the prayers and love during this time of great loss.
