Donald R. Libby Jr. 87 of Brownfield died on Sunday July 29, 2018, at Bridgton Hospital. He was born April 18, 1931 in Old Orchard Beach a son of Donald and Harriet (Sands) Libby, and was educated in the local school system. Donald retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years of honorable and faithful service protecting his country during the Korean War and Vietnam conflict. He worked for the U.S. Post Office before retiring. Donald’s joy in life was spending time with family, gardening, fishing, hunting, canning. He continued his support of the military after retiring serving as State Commander of the VFW. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Teresa McCutcheon, and his son Bruce Boisjoly He is survived by: His wife: Barbara (Adams) Libby Sons: Phil Boisjoly and his wife Michelle Fred Libby and his wife Beth Frank Libby and his wife Judy Dannie Ross Mark Ross David Ross and his wife Christine Robert Boisjoly and his husband Brian Clevenger Daughter: Cathy Callen and her husband Tim Son in-law : Kevin McCutcheon Sisters in-law: Brenda Collins and her husband Ronald Doreen Earley and her husband Joseph Brother in law: Gary Adams and his wife Carole 15 grand children 13 great grand children Several nieces and nephews Visiting Hours will 3-6 p.m. on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm Street, Biddeford, ME 04005. A celebration of life will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at Hope Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery in Saco.
