David Lee Dumoulin of Belleville, Illinois passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at his home, having attained the age of 75 years, 6 months and 24 days. Born on January 5, 1943 in St. Louis, Missouri, he was the son of Alexander James and Alice Dumoulin, nee Emerson. He was united in marriage to Barbara Petrucci on June 28, 1986 in St. Louis, Missouri and she survives his passing. David was an insurance salesman, a member of the Catholic faith and the Committee on Foreign Relations. Preceding him in death were his parents and his brother, Alexander Dumoulin. Surviving are his wife, Barbara Dumoulin of Belleville, Illinois; his children, John (Lisa) Dumoulin of Granite City, Illinois, Allison Swanson of Charleston, South Carolina, Edward Dumoulin of Chicago, Illinois and Michele Dumoulin of St. Louis, Missouri; his grandchildren, Joseph Dumoulin, Connor Dumoulin and Mitchell Dumoulin, all of Granite City, Illinois, nieces, nephews and many friends. Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Hospital for Crippled Children. A memorial service and celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 6:00 P.M. at Favazza Restaurant On The Hill in St. Louis, Missouri. The Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois is assisting the family.
