David Edward Hardesty, age 47, of Eatontown Road, Corbin departed this life on Monday, July 30, 2018 at Baptist Health in Corbin. He was born on December 11, 1970 in Corbin to Stewart Edward Hardesty and Midge (Fuller) Hardesty. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Ora Stanhope. David was an avid supporter of youth programs in Corbin and the surrounding areas. He enjoyed his time hunting, fishing and any outdoor activities. Most of all he loved being a Dad. He is survived by his… Read More » son, Braylon Christian Hardesty of Corbin; his fiancé, Brandi Darnell of Corbin; parents, Stewart and Midge Hardesty of Corbin; brother, Michael Lee Hardesty (Erika) of Corbin; sister, Vickie Renee Gross (Stephen) of Warner Robins, Georgia; half-brother, Wade Jenkins of Corbin; half-sister, Michelle McCrary of Catawba, North Carolina; nephews, Boston Hardesty and Miles Hardesty; nieces, Jersey Hardesty, Danielle Gross and Amber Gross; aunts and uncles, Frank and Carol Jenkins of Albertville, Alabama and David and Jean Hardesty of Corbin; best friend, Ken Phelps; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing. Visitation will be after 6:00 P.M. Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Croley Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 3, 2018 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating. Following the service he will be laid to rest in the Hardesty Family Cemetery in Corbin.
