Clay C Weatherton September 4 1926 July 30 2018 (age 91)

Clay C. Weatherton, 91, of Unity Township, died Monday, July 30, 2018. He was born Sept. 4, 1926, in Latrobe, a son of the late Paul N. and Ruth (Haines) Weatherton. He was a member of Ligonier Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. Clay was a farmer who devoted his life to working on his family’s farm. He was also a school bus driver for the former Mark Lines for more than 30 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia I. (Johnson) Weatherton, May 22, 2007; his son, Thomas W. Weatherton; and his brother, Robert “Bob” Weatherton. He is survived by three daughters, Sharon DeMichela and husband, Kenneth, of Unity Township, Judy Kita, of Derry, and Carol Johnston, of Latrobe. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home with the Rev. Larry McDonnell officiating. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Action for Animals, 386 Route 217, Latrobe, PA 15650. www.bachafh.com.
