OBITUARY Beatrice Joseph October 24, 1921 – August 26, 2018 Beatrice “Birdie” Komerofsky Miller Joseph, age 96, of Highland Heights, died on Sunday, August 26, 2018. She was born October 24, 1921, to Rudolph and Clara Komerofsky. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Miller and the late Harold Joseph, she is survived by her sons, Jay (Linda) Miller and Philip (Marian) Miller of San Mateo, Calif., their children Arin (Joseph Tait) Miller-Tait, Carrie (Steven Rys) Miller, Emily (Jonathan Rose) Miller of Pacific Grove, Calif., and David (Tayanah) Miller, of Berkeley, Calif. She is also survived by her great-grand daughter Beatrice Miller Rys and by step-children Joel (Marlene) Joseph of Los Angeles; Barbara (David) Simon and Eileen Joseph Narosny, both of Phoenix, Ariz., and step-grandchildren Michael, Kevin and Alex Joseph. She is also survived by her sister, Sally “Rivi” (Jack) Katz. She was predeceased by her brothers Max (Edith) Komerofsky and Isadore, and her sisters, Ann (Albert) Abramson, Rose (Harry Sacks and Myer Mazur) Sacks Mazur, Sophie (Herman) Goldsmith, Ethel (Leonard) Abrams and Esther (Billy) Brenner. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 30, 2018 at the Main Chapel of Hillcrest Cemetery, 26200 Aurora Road in Bedford Heights, OH 44146. FOLLOWING THE SERVICES, the family will gather at Executive Caterers at Laderhaven, 6111 Landerhaven Drive, Mayfield Heights, OH 44124 UNTIL 4:30 PM In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Birdie’s name to the Hospice of Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44110, or www.hospicewr.org/.
