OBITUARY Barry Jay Markowitz April 30, 1944 – August 23, 2018 Barry Jay Markowitz, age 74, passed away on August 23, 2018 at home with his family. Barry grew up in Cleveland, OH, the son of Evelyn and Max Markowitz. He was Vice President of Sales at Rossmor Industries in Twinsburg. He moved to Scottsdale, AZ in 2001, where he was highly involved in the arts and volunteering with local theaters and temples. He loved singing, golf, and happy hour with his endless number of friends. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Helaine; his daughter Melissa Sommers and her husband Kevin; and his son Eric Markowitz and his wife Karla.
