Anthony “Cig” Hughes, 63, of Benton, died Thursday evening, August 2nd, 2018 at his sisters home. Cig was a 20 year employee of Scale Source of Ledbetter, KY. and was of the Baptist faith. Cig is survived by five siblings, Mickey Hughes of Paducah, Rickey Hughes of Cleveland, TN., Patti Hughes Sheridan of Calvert City, KY., David Hughes of Ledbetter, and JoAnn Edwards of Mustang, OK.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents, ML and Ruth Evelyn Lamply Hughes; two brothers, Roger Dale Hughes and Charles Hughes; and one sister, Donna Gail. Graveside services will be held Sunday, August 5th, 2018 at Fooks Cemetery in Possum Trot, KY. starting at 2pm with Elder Danny Ferrell officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to the Fooks Cemetery Fund c/o Jeff Story, P.O. Box 525, Calvert City, KY. 42029 Lindsey Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.
