Amy Elizabeth (Armstrong) Siegert (1958-2018) entered eternal life peacefully at home, in the care of Lake Superior Life Care & Hospice on August 23, 2018 surrounded by her loving family and friends after a courageous battle with cancer. Cherished wife of Phil Siegert for over 36 years; loving mother and grandmother to Chase (Junlie) Siegert of Sydney, Australia and their 3 boys, Chase Jr., Oliver and Austin, Cullen (Samantha) Siegert of Marinette, Wisconsin and their son Aidan; much… Read More » loved daughter of Vida Tesch (late Charlie); dear sister of Debra and Kimberly (late René); daughter-in-law of Gloria Siegert (late Milton); sister-in-law of Ann and John O’Keefe and Steve and Peggy Siegert. Amy will be lovingly remembered by her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and her wonderful Circle of Friends. Amy enjoyed providing private home daycare for over 28 years. She touched the lives of many, many children and parents. Amy immensely enjoyed hunting, fishing and camp life with her family as well as working out with her many friends at the YMCA. In keeping with Amy’s wishes there will be no visitation or service. Amy’s Celebration of Life took place at Amy & Phil’s home in Harvey, MI on August 25, 2018. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Lake Superior Life Care & Hospice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
