Alvaretta Sue Davis, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend, went to be with the Lord on August 3, 2018. Alvie was born to Jesse and Bernice Wallis, November 13, 1940 in Taloga, Oklahoma. Alvie went on to marry the love of her life, Calvin Davis, September 29, 1957. Alvie resided in Newcastle, Oklahoma most of her life where she enjoyed keeping her grandkids, working as a cashier and most recently, was the supervisor of housekeeping services at the Newcastle Casino.… Read More » Alvie enjoyed spending time at any casino, but most of all she adored time being surrounded by her family and friends. Alvie was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Wallis; mother, Bernice Wallis; sisters, Karen Hunt, Starlette Daubert, Tanna Howard; and son, Michael Lynn Davis. Alvie is survived by her husband, Calvin Davis of the home; son, Jesse and wife Debbie Davis of Purcell; sister, Trella Sagers of Midwest City; 9 grandchildren: Christy Frankovich of Asher, Tracie Tracey of Oklahoma City, Brandi Spurgin of Noble, Justin Davis of Purcell, Shawn Cherry of Blanchard, Michael Jr. Davis of Piedmont, Stacy Davis of Oklahoma City, Priscilla Whalin of Chandler and Chad Childers. Alvie has 34 great grandchildren; 2 great great granddaughters, Lynnox Lou Hawkins and Lillianna Ray Vargas; as well as many other nieces, nephews, friends and relatives. Alvie’s services will be Wednesday, August 8, 2018, 11:00 A.M at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home Chapel, 1820 S. Douglas Blvd. Midwest City, OK. 73130 with Interment to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens.
