Obituary for Allie Murdoch On August 23, 2018, the world lost a very precious and special person. Allie Emily Murdoch (Alice Emily Engelhardt) went to a better and more peaceful place. After a stroke and various other maladies resulted in a period of suffering, she passed peacefully in her sleep. Allie was born December 18, 1940 in Rockwood, Tennessee from parents Frederick Engelhardt and Alice Emily Wilson Engelhardt. She had one brother, Frederick, who died in 2015. She is survived by her husband, Al Murdoch in Crossville, TN; son, Erik Purins of Fernandina Beach, FL; daughter, Susan Robillard of Cambell River, BC, Canada; grandchildren, Caleb, Evan, Austin, Emma May; and great-grandchild, Lexis. Allie will be cremated and interred in the Chattanooga Veterans National Cemetery. Upon his death, her husband will be cremated and interred next to her. There will be no services held. Sympathy contributions will be much appreciated and be made to the Wounded Warrior Project and/or the SPCA in her name. She was known to many and loved by all.
