Obituary for Alice Marie Finney Alice Marie Finney, 63, of Trenton died July 28, peacefully at home. Born on June 5,1955 to the late Melvin and Eldora Finney. Alice was a sweet, sassy, hardworking and dependable person. She loved running, singing in the church choir and spending time with her friends and family; especially her grandchildren. Alice had a great love for her church family and the lord. She was graduate of Lawrence High School, class of 1974 and was a member of the track team. She worked for Arc of Mercer for 25 years; at various locations, Trenton State college (TCNJ), Justice Complex, Mary G. Roebling Bldg. and the Dept. of Transportation. Preceded in death by her sisters, Elizabeth Short and Anita Finney, brothers, Jimmy and Kirk Finney. She leaves to mourn her loss, her Fiancé of 24 years, Joseph Johnson; one daughter, Elizabeth Willingham (Edward) of Ewing, three sons, Elijah Finney (Megan), of Lawrence Twp., Eric Finney (Kimberly) of Greensboro, NC and Alton Finney of Del. Six grandchildren, Four brothers, Phillip Finney (Gail) of Ewing, NJ; Walter Finney of Georgia, Scott Finney (Pam) of North Carolina and Marc Short (Deborah), of South orange, NJ. Three sisters, Ona Jackson of Hamilton, NJ, Celestine and Linda Short of Fort Worth, TX, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, other relatives and friends.
