Obituary for Wanda Fay Horton Wanda Fay Horton, age 89 of Lubbock, Texas died on Friday, June 29, 2018, surrounded by family. She was born in 1928 in Abilene, Texas to Russell and Fay Muston. After graduating from Abilene High School, she attended Abilene Christian College from which she graduated in 1948. Ms. Horton married Mr. Charles Horton III later in the summer of 1948. She is survived by her husband and four children, Charles R. Horton IV, Kathleen Tims, Cynthia Hoople, and Susan Calvert. She also is survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, July 2nd at Sanders Funeral Home from 5:30-7:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Sunset Church of Christ on Tuesday, July 3rd at 2:00 p.m. The family requests memorials be made on Wanda’s behalf to Sunset International Bible Institute.
