Obituary for Viola Wood Viola Helen Wood, 73, of Denton, passed away at her home on July 25, 2018. She was born in Dundalk, MD on August 14, 1944 to the late Niles William Martin and Helen Lillian Young. Mrs. Wood was the proprietor of Vi’s Poodle Grooming as well as an accomplished artist. She belonged to the American Legion Post 29 in Denton, the Vintage Car Club of America and loved playing the slots in Harrington. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wood is preceded in death by her husband Ronald Wood, Sr. and brother Robert Martin. She is survived by son Russell Hutchins, Jr. and wife Maria of Denton, daughter Debbie Eichner and husband William of Baltimore, grandchildren Russell (Miranda) Hutchins, III., Billy (Rhyanna) Eichner, Matthew (Kerrie) Hutchins, and Evan Eichner, beloved great grandchildren Russell M., Max and Robert Hutchins and her faithful companions, Willow and Gidget. A visitation will be held at Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home in Greensboro on Monday, July 30, 2018 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM with a memorial service.
