Vernon L. Brubaker Jr, age 72, of Richmond passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Reid Health in Richmond, Indiana. He was born January 2, 1946 in New Castle, Indiana a son of the late Vernon L. Brubaker Sr. and Catherine Griswell Brubaker. He was a graduate of Hagerstown High School class of 1964 and worked for Richmond Industrial in Richmond Indiana. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends by whom he will be greatly missed. Left to cherish his loving memory include four children: Dana Shaffer, Jennifer (Tom) Rodefer, Amy (Harvey) Steele, Sara (Robert) Sanders; one sister, Susan J. Dalton; four brothers,: Duane, Jeffrey, Mark and Pete Brubaker; eight grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and best friend Bentley Shelton. Friends may call from 12 until 2 PM on Saturday, July28, 2018 at Macer-Hall Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Macer-Hall Funeral Home and cremation Service with Pastor Rick White, officiating.
