Obituary for Theodore “Ted” Yuen Mauliola Theodore “Ted” Yuen Mauliola, 82, of Kailua, passed away June 14, 2018 at Lunalilo Home. He was born in Waimanalo on March 8, 1936 to parents James Mauliola and Ethel Young Mauliola. He was a proud graduate of St. Louis School, Class of 1954, and also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from St. Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri. He was employed as a physical therapist at the Hawaii State Hospital until his retirement. Actively involved in community and youth activities, he coached basketball, flag football and baseball in the Police Activity League and also at St. Anthony School-Kailua. He was also a veteran of the United States Army. Ted was preceded in death by parents, beloved wife Mary Lou, and brother Francis. Ted is survived by his children, Cindy Mauliola, Gina (Brian) Marting, John (Stephanie) Mauliola, David (Melissa) Mauliola and Solomon (Raynee) David; 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; brother George Mauliola; sisters, Grace Adviento and Lani Villanueva.
