Obituary for Mrs. Sue Bailey Sue Bailey, 72, of Scipio, passed from this life at 8:04 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Sue retired from Cummins Engine Company and was active with the Jennings County Historical Society. She enjoyed baking, sewing and stain glass art. Sue was born April 15, 1946 in Columbus. She was the daughter of Kenneth and Hazel Robertson Rednour. She married, Norman L. Bailey on August 31, 1973. Survivors include her husband of nearly 45 years; children, Linda (Jason) Hittle of Columbus, Larry Smith of Scipio, Laura (Allan) Haw of Franklin and Lisa (Mike) Edwards of Indianapolis; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents. The funeral will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Terry Branum officiating. Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday and noon to time of service Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Scipio Cemetery in Scipio, Indiana.
