Samuel Paul Gerber September 26 1951 June 30 2018

Obituary for Samuel Paul Gerber Sam, age 66, went to his heavenly home Saturday, June 30, 2018. He was a native of New Orleans, and more recently a resident of Ponchatoula. Sam was an accomplished business man who understood the complexity and necessary components for many categories of business ventures to succeed. For many years, Sam worked for Altus Global Trade Solutions. Additionally, he owned his own gaming company, providing everything from slot machines to pinball games. Most interestingly, Sam successfully owned his own private investigating company, S. G. Investigations, LLC. Sam was a wonderful father and friend, and he is already deeply missed by all who knew him. Sam is survived by his loving son, Cory Gerber; his devoted fiancé, Tina Erdman; his close friend, Jay Rosso; and his adorable fur-baby cat, Lucy. Sam is preceded in death by his parents, Morris and Charlotte Gerber. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations please be made to The American Heart Association, The National Kidney Foundation, and The American Diabetes Association.
