Obituary for Roy Henderson Jr. Roy Watson Henderson, Jr., 84, formerly of Longmont, passed away February 15, 2018 in Pueblo, Colorado. Roy was born August 23, 1933 in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Roy Watson, Sr. and Nellie M. (Ryff) Henderson. He graduated from High School in 1951. He attended and graduated from the University of Wyoming. In 1956, with his degree, Roy started his electrical engineering career at XCEL Energy until his retirement. Roy served in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves from May 28, 1956 to 1965, achieving the rank of 1st Lieutenant. Roy married Ann Sutherland on February 14, 1976 in Westminster, Colorado. Roy was preceded in death by his parents; son, John Henderson; daughter, Chris Burch; brother, Larry Henderson; grandson, Teryl Jay (TJ) Henderson and nephew, Larry Tiger Henderson. Roy is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Ann; four children: Linda (Jesse) Arman, Ray (Donna) Harvey, Ken Harvey, and Debby (Sam) Cortese; special sister-in-law Sylvia Henderson and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 2:00 PM. Visit, to share condolences.
