Roy Adren Everett, 87, of Richland, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2018, at his home near Hatfield, Indiana. Roy was born on July 9, 1930, in Spottsville, Kentucky, to the late Homer and Catherine (Eastin) Everett and came to Hatfield with his family at the age of seven. Roy served as a Corporal in the United States Army in the Korean War. He enjoyed working as a farmer in Hatfield and also worked several years at Chrysler and then later retired from Evansville Veneer. … Read More » Roy is survived by his wife of 16 years, June (Lamar) Everett of Richland, IN; daughter, Gala Everett; siblings Thomas Henry (Jo) Everett of Campbell, MO, Annis Marie Buley of Henderson, KY; two granddaughters including Tonya D.; 1 great granddaughter; his wife’s children, Linda Lamar Ruff, Bonnie (Joe) Garrity, and Michael B. Lamar; Grandchildren Tiffany Ruff, Michael R. (Brittany) Lamar; and greatgrandchild, Evan Lamar. Visitation will be from 2 P.M. until 7 P.M. on Thursday, July 5, 2018, at the funeral home and from 9 A.M. until the time of service on Friday. Services will be 10 A.M. Friday, July 6, 2018, at Koehler Funeral Home in Boonville, Indiana, with Pastors Jim Wilson and John Wongler officiating. Burial will be at James Parker Cemetery in Hatfield, Indiana.
