Obituary for Rose Phillips Rose Marie Phillips, age 78, of Ludington, passed away on June 29, 2018 at Longfellow Towers. Rose was born on August 9, 1939 in Ludington, the daughter of Delton and Julia (Budreau) Phillips. She attended Ludington School and was a cook at different restaurants in the community, including The Grand, The Pantry, and Ye Al Come Back Café. Rose enjoyed traveling, camping, playing Bingo, and was an avid flower lover. Everyone loved her cream pies and apple squares, of which she made many batches to give out to her wonderful friends and family. Rose was a kind and loving woman who will be missed by those who survive her, including many nieces, nephews, and friends. Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Jacobs; parents, Delton and Julia Phillips; siblings, Charlotte Elliott, Delton Phillips Jr., and Willie Phillips. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Oak Grove Funeral Home in Ludington, with visitation starting at 1:00 pm.
