Banks-Beads Roberta Louise Banks-Beads, affectionately known as Peaches, daughter of the late Elmer Leroy Banks and Anna Collins was born on November 1, 1943 in Baltimore, Maryland. At an early age she professed her faith in Jesus Christ and attended Presbyterian Church. On December 21, 1961, Peaches gave birth to her only child. Anotonio “Tony”. She and Tony had a very close relationship and there weren’t many days that went by where they didn’t speak. Although they drove each other crazy, there wasn’t anything they wouldn’t have done for each other. She was united in holy matrimony to Alfred “Al” Lee Beads on September 11, 1987, in Baltimore City. Peaches and Al were inseparable. You rarely saw one without the other. They would often sit on the porch and just greet neighbors and play with the neighborhood children. Peaches was employed through the Baltimore City Public School System as a Teacher’s Assistant for over 20 years until her retirement on November 1, 2005. She loved children and nothing made her happier than making kids smile. Peaches spent a lot of time with her grandchildren Antonio ” Little Tony” and Autumn. She enjoyed spoiling them and making them laugh. Peaches is t know she LOVED TO SHOP!!!!
