Philip Andrew Clough, 67, was born on November 10, 1950 in New Castle, IN to Philip and Charlotte (nee Anderson) Clough. He passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 in Chicago. Phil grew up in Crystal Lake and attended Central High School. He graduated from Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa. His passion was football and he played on teams in high school through semi-pro. After college Phil worked in sales and was then hired by Merrill Lynch where he trained as a stockbroker, and later earned certification as a Certified Financial Planner. He received a number of awards throughout the years for his work. He is survived by his wife, Eileen (nee Mark) Clough; his daughters, Kelly (Jim) Sarther, and Molly (Jason Erlenborn) Clough; his grandchildren, Charlotte and Philip Sarther; and his sisters, Kathy (Ray) Hurt, Karen Pettit, JoAnn Krueger, and Amy Boerst. He is preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held from 1pm until 4pm, Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Turnberry Country Club, 9600 Turnberry Trl, Lakewood, IL.
