Mary Ann Long 2018

Mary Ann Long, 41, of Shippensburg, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at her home. Born October 20, 1976 in Waynesboro, PA, she was the daughter of Russell S. Long and his wife, Marieann Long of Waynesboro and Chambersburg, PA and the late Florine L. (Woodring) Long, who passed away in 2013. Mary Ann graduated as salutatorian of Waynesboro Area Senior High School with the Class of 1995 and later studied business at Shippensburg University. She was employed by Citicorp, Hagerstown MD for 20 years. In addition to her father and step-mother, Mary Ann is survived by daughter, Aisha Long of Shippensburg; brother, Lester S. Long of Waynesboro; and many nieces and nephews that she deeply cherished. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Long Montoya who passed away April 22, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 1, 2018 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St. Waynesboro, PA, with the Rev. Dr. Bruce Druckenmiller officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Wednesday in the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Thursday.
