Marie H Larken Waldrip 2018

Marie Helen (Larken) Waldrip passed unexpectedly in her home on Saturday, June 30th in Salem, NH at the age of 83. Born in Saugus on April 22, 1935, she was the daughter of Virginia (Allen) Taylor. She graduated Saugus High School 1953. Marie was a kind and giving woman who loved to be with her family. She loved to spend time on her deck reading or watching the hummingbirds at their feeders. She enjoyed spending time at Lake Winnipesaukee in the summers and loved to play bingo at the local senior center in Salem, NH. Marie is survived by her three sons, Alan Waldrip and his wife Susan of Hampstead, NH; Michael Waldrip and his wife Roberta of Tewksbury, MA; and Scott Waldrip and his wife Susan of Newburyport, MA. Her grandchildren Rachel Copeland and her husband Joseph of Kittery, ME; Britney Waldrip and her fiancé Josh Cahoon of Sandwich, NH; Kyle Waldrip of Superior, CO; and Jessica Waldrip of Sydney, Australia. She is also the proud great-grandmother “GG” of Rylan Milne. Marie is predeceased by the love of her life, Walter “Wally” Waldrip, who passed in 1997. Marie and Wally loved to travel and enjoyed their time in Fort Myers, FL and on the mountain in Granville, VT. Visiting hours will be held at the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., SAUGUS, on Tuesday, July 3rd from 10-11 a.m. with services at 11 a.m.. Immediately following services will be a burial ceremony at Riverside Cemetery, Saugus. Donations to MA General Hospital Corrigan Minehan Heart Center or the Ingram Senior Center in Salem NH can be made in lieu of flowers.
