MCGLYNN, LAUREN MARIE MCLEANSVILLE, passed away on Monday, July 9, 2018, peacefully at Beacon Place, surrounded by family and friends after a brief illness. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, July 2oth at the Triad Cremation Society and Chapel in Greensboro. Lauren was born March 3, 1986, graduated from Northeast High School in 2004, attended Concord University in WV, and attended Living Arts Institute where she became a licensed Massage Therapist. Lauren was a free-spirited jack of all trades and a master of them all. She loved soccer, swimming, dancing, and most of all her karaoke. She was extremely artistic, loved making jewelry, and was an avid reader. She was loved dearly by her family and friends. Lauren was preceded in death by her grandparents James and Rosalie (Gabby)Gardiner of Graham NC and Kenneth and Claire(Mimi) Morin of Stokesdale NC. She will be missed by many but most of all by her parents James and Dale McGlynn of McLeansville, brother Kevin McGlynn of Burlington, and loving son Alexander Craig of Lindside WV. She is also survived by her Aunts and Uncles, Steve and Corrine Gardiner of Tampa Florida, Gary and Pattie Gardiner of Massapequa NY, Aunt and Uncle and Godparents Dean and Catherine Gardiner from Stokesdale NC, Linda Bohannon of Maine, David McGlynn of Oregon, and many loving cousins. A celebration of life ceremony will be held July 20th at Coopers Ale House, Swing Road, Greensboro from 7-9pm with Karaoke to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hirsh Wellness Network of Greensboro, or Humane Society of your choice.
